Campaign summary
When the center came to us, online admissions were weak: fewer than five digital admissions a month.
The website was under-optimized, leads were unqualified, and a lot of budget was lost on ineffective call services. We redesigned the website, built targeted landing pages, ran a full SEO strategy and launched high-intent PPC campaigns with $180K in monthly ad spend. We also set up advanced attribution and CRM tracking to measure results precisely.
Within 90 days, admissions from digital marketing grew 215%, reaching a sustained 600% increase over two years. Cost per admission dropped from $11.5K to $4.3K, while brand visibility and lead quality improved a lot. Since the partnership began, our work has brought 2,723 admissions.

Challenges
- Fewer than five online admissions a month, putting serious pressure on revenue and the future of the program.
- Many unqualified leads from poor targeting, wasting staff time and blocking help for people who really needed care.
- Heavy spending on ineffective third-party call services, with little return and less money left for real marketing.
- Weak search visibility and an underperforming website: people looking for treatment couldn't easily find the center.
- No accurate attribution or tracking, so leadership couldn't make data-driven decisions about marketing spend.
Key opportunities
- Capture high-intent admissions traffic with better targeting and scaled campaigns.
- Redesign the websites for better UX, speed and conversion on desktop and mobile.
- Build a strong SEO and content strategy to lead local and national rankings for treatment keywords.
- Launch data-driven paid campaigns with precise targeting to lower cost per admission and raise ROAS.
- Set up attribution and analytics to measure every channel and guide real-time decisions.
“This team saved our program from closing after decades of operating. They have delivered 40+ admissions a month consistently for many years. If you absolutely must succeed with digital, this is the team you want on your side.”
Our solution
A multi-year, multi-channel program: SEO, paid ads, precise attribution and custom website development.
Organic search (SEO)
We ran a long-term SEO strategy for addiction treatment searches, both local and national: content clusters and topic silos, libraries of semantically related articles, a high-volume blog with multimedia, and a drug facts archive to position the center as an authority.
Local SEO brought near-complete dominance in the region for drug rehab searches, using Google Business Profile optimization, consistent business listings (NAP) and location pages. Rankings stayed stable through several Google updates, including Helpful Content, E-E-A-T and mobile-first indexing.

Paid ads (PPC)
The paid program was built to get high-intent leads at scale in a highly regulated, competitive industry.
We handled the introduction of LegitScript certification (required for addiction treatment ads) and stayed compliant without losing volume. As industry CPCs kept rising, we used AI-driven bidding in Google Ads to stay efficient.
Beyond Google we added Microsoft (Bing) Ads and Yelp Ads, each bringing extra leads. Ad copy, targeting and landing page conversion were tested all the time to lower cost per admission. Results kept growing despite rising competition.

Website design and development
We rebuilt several of the center's websites with fully custom WordPress designs built for speed, mobile performance and conversion.
We applied CRO best practices, schema markup and internal linking aligned with SEO. We also built content-focused SEO microsites for niche searches, adapted everything to mobile-first indexing, and designed banners, event materials and other marketing collateral.

Attribution system
We built a full attribution system connecting every marketing channel to the center's CRM, with end-to-end tracking from first click to admission.
Call tracking gave detailed call source data, and a custom BI setup pulled metrics from every platform into central dashboards. Weekly PDF reports for management are sent automatically and are used in board meetings. The system is still in use today.
